As most hardcore Street Fighter fans know, some previous Capcom games have had a system similar to the new Mortal Kombat, in that players can select multiple iterations, or versions of characters — whether it’s from past patches or previous games.

Due to a glitch, that’s sort of happening with Street Fighter V. Fans have datamined the game’s files and found that it keeps a log of past versions in a different folder. They’ve found a way to view said characters and change up their moveset.

As Shoryuken notes, V hasn’t received any major balance patches just yet so this is mostly moot, but it’s something to be aware of.
