Releasing February 16, 2016
We now know when we’ll be able to get our hands on Street Fighter V (apart from the betas taking place). It was just announced at Sony’s Paris Games Week press conference that Street Fighter V will release in Europe and the Americas on February 16, 2016.
Also, Street Fighter V‘s roster is filling out fast. Everyone’s favorite flame-blowing yoga master, Dhalsim, was just revealed. Things are getting hot! And stretchy.
Accompanying the character reveal was word that six additional characters will be added to Street Fighter V in the first year after release. All of them will be able to be unlocked with Fight Money, the in-game currency of Street Fighter V. That essentially means that they can be free if you dedicate the time to earning enough Fight Money. Alternatively, I’m sure you can spend real money on them, but that’s fine because you have options.
