Start your Friday right with this adorable Mario Kart Tour trailer

Don’t drop the lightning

Mario Kart Tour is less than two weeks away and while I wasn’t completely enamored with the beta I played a few months ago, the latest trailers from Nintendo have put the game back on my map. It looks like at least some of the criticism lobbed at it has been addressed as MK Tour will feature original tracks as well as returning favorites.

There is, however, a lot that we just don’t know. Is the questionable progression system still intact? Do I have more control when it comes to steering? Is the inclusion of Tokyo and Paris tracks a confirmation that Mario is Missing! has been folded into the existing Super Mario continuity?

Those questions and more will have to wait, but in the meantime, here’s an adorable trailer to start your weekend right.

Mario Kart Tour launches on mobile platforms on September 25, 2019. Pre-registration is now open.
