Starfire lights up the skies of Injustice 2

Teen Titan not so teen

NetheRealm Studios have finally added Starfire to the roster of Injustice 2, ready to wreak radioactive mayhem on the superheroes (and villains) of the popular fighting game.

Described as a “beginner-friendly character” Starfire is yet another zoner, using an array of both ground and air projectiles to keep her opponents frustratingly at bay. These projectiles can be meter-burned to create a volley.

Starfire is also equipped with cluster bombs and a laser-beam to further extend her reach. Whilst her trailer shows a lot of cool up-close-and-personal combo action. I have a feeling that in reality you’ll be seeing this girl through binoculars.

I personally don’t like the design of the character, but with the air fireballs, the hair-whip, the floating abilities, and the mumsy face, this is the closest I’m getting to Mortal Kombat’s Sindel anytime soon, so I’ll probably give her a go at my next meet.

Starfire is available now for Injustice 2, but only for owners of the Ultimate or Deluxe editions of the game, or those who have purchased Fighter Pack #1 or the Ultimate Pack. It stands to reason she will be made available for purchase to everyone else a week from now.

Lord have mercy, Warners…
