Stardust HD developer revealing PSN, XBLA game at PAX

Super Stardust HD developer Housemarque has confirmed via its Twitter account that it has a new game in development for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation 3. The game will be revealed at Penny Arcade Expo in early September.

Housemarque has previously developed a few console-specific downloadable games, including the aforementioned Super Stardust HD and the upcoming zombie shooter, Dead Nation, for PlayStation Network. Housemarque likes its twin-stick shooters, although it has deviated a bit — it developed Golf: Tee It Up for XBLA as well.

Housemarque has a track record of making stellar games, so Xbox 360 and PS3 owners should be in for a treat. We’ll let you know what it is as soon as we find out.
