Indie farmathon Stardew Valley has been teasing its multiplayer mode for months now, but the day is nearly upon us. In a recent blog post on update 1.3, creator Eric Barone states that the multiplayer update is all finished and that translation efforts are beginning. Once that is done, QA testing will begin and the beta should start rolling out for the public.

That beta should be ready for Spring, unless something unforeseen happens. As for any specifics, Barone is holding off on stating anything probably in case certain features don’t pan out from the QA period. That being said, just simply having another person in Stardew Valley would be enough for me, so everything else is just icing on the cake.
