StarCraft II ‘Wacky Race’ map brings back the memories

You may or may not recall my borderline creepy obsession with Warcraft III mods. Uh … yeah. Having successfully gone through rehabilitation, it looks like the recovery will be short-lived if StarCraft II‘s mod-creating community has any say in the matter.

As shown above, “Wacky Race v1” by YouTube user Everdraed clearly depicts the beginning of the end for me. This mod is everything vanilla StarCraft II isn’t, which is more or less what I tend to look for in these sorts of things.

Rough around the edges, sure, but the full game isn’t even close to out yet. Even if it were out now, it would be silly to expect immediate, stellar results — the modding community is a slow-moving mass, usually.
