Major League Gaming hit Raleigh, North Carolina last weekend which, unfortunately, was the same week as PAX Prime. With the Penny Arcade Expo now behind us, here’s some results from the weekend’s action.

There were four tournaments played with the finals all on Sunday. As you would expect, South Koreans dominated the StarCraft II tournament taking the top six placings, with Bomber winning the title in his MLG debut. Infamous won their first Halo: Reach title, FeaR beat rivals Collapse 3-0 to take the Call of Duty: Black Ops title and Counter Logic Gaming beat Epik Gaming in the League of Legends final.

Maybe one of the most interesting things that happened over the weekend was a set of exhibition matches of Gears of War 3, between a team from Epic Games and team TH3 NSAN3Z. Ultimately, the pro-gamers lead a 3-0 whitewash of the guys from Epic, which in Scotland we refer to as a “humping.” MLG’s next stop is in Orlando, Florida between the 14th and 16th of October.
