Star Wars custom Wii is for the rich nerd who needs to squander money

I’ve seen some cool custom Wiis out there, and I’ve shared quite a few with you here on the pages of Dtoid. I have to admit this Star Wars one is pretty smokin, but when you get to the price, all those feelings just kind of stop in their tracks. At $499.99 (and its listed on Ebay, so that’s a starting bid), it just seems like a hell of a mark up, despite the work that obviously went into it.

On the other hand, it seems the average custom console has quite a pricetag — the Yoshi Wii I linked above retailed for close to the same price. Gamers want cool stuff, but most gamers don’t have that kind of cash handy (especially not after all the cool games this season!). Then again, I don’t live and breathe the Force — if that’s your thing, would you throw down that cool 500 to get this one-of-a-kind mod?
