The official Twitter account for all things Star Wars from EA confirmed today that there will be no space battles in Star Wars Battlefront. When asked “space battles or not” EA responded:
We’re focusing on air battles and dogfights that take place on the vistas of our planets rather than space.
I guess that answers the question that our very own Mike Cosimano had in today’s preview of Star Wars Battlefront. Were space battles even in the previous Battlefront titles? If so they certainly weren’t memorable, at least not to me.
