The Season 3 World Championship for League of Legends is all set for the Staples Center on October 4, 2013. With a cash prize of $1 million up for grabs for the winning team, this is going to be another wild one. Tickets are supposed to go on sale soon, so keep an eye out.
Leading up to the big event, teams will compete throughout September in qualifier events. In other words, there’s going to be plenty of feeds to watch on the road to the World Championship. I’ve been watching a lot of Twitch.tv lately and, as a result, some League of Legends. Similar to my enjoyment of EVO despite not being able to play most fighting games myself, I’m starting to come around. It’s hard not to get excited with the energy of these events.
