You so crazy, Square Enix. There’s a new game coming to WiiWare in Japan called Kumanage, and in it you’ll throw bears and other cute characters to protect gems or protect red candy, depending on which version of the game you buy. The name translates to “Bear Throw.”

Wait, what?

They’re calling this a “throwing action game,” and it’s set in a picture book world, set in an old mansion…where, again, you’ll throw bears. Of course, the Wii Remote will have you doing tossing motions.

If you’re still confused, the game’s official website isn’t going to help much.

Both versions will be released on WiiWare on June 8th for 1,000 Wii Points. Andria Sang notes that the official site shows ESRB ratings, so the game is a lock for a US release too.
