Square Enix progress on upcoming Final Fantasy games

The latest Famitsu has updates on the status of upcoming Final Fantasy franchise games. You know, so you can plan out your year and whatnot.

The HD ports of X and X-2 are coming along. I recently played them, so stay tuned for my impressions. I also spent time with Lightning Returns a couple of weeks ago. They say it’s 70 percent done, but it seemed ready to go to me.

Here is where we stand on the upcoming titles:

Final Fantasy X HD – 80%

Final Fantasy X-2 HD – 65%

Final Fantasy VIII (PC) – 80%

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII – 70%

Final Fantasy Versus XIII – 0.00069%
