The bundle features 54 PC games and a whole lotta micro-DLC
Square Enix has assembled 54 games for an Eidos bundle on Steam – including entries from the Tomb Raider, Thief, Legacy of Kain, and Deus Ex series – in a bid to keep people safely occupied at home.
I was initially a little hesitant to cover this deal – if we were ever really going to play these games, we probably would’ve picked them up by now – but the Eidos Anthology bundle’s charitable appeal makes it worth sharing. According to Square Enix, “all revenue from purchases going to charities across North America and Europe including food banks and more.” Your backlog can handle the burden. (Right?)
The anthology costs around $40, but any duplicates you already own will knock the price down.

Just from a “Wait, they own those rights?” angle, this list is pretty interesting.
There are true classics, middle-of-the-road releases, and some clear clunkers on the decade-spanning list, so everyone’s results are going to vary. That said, I like the idea of scrolling through my Steam library years from now and racking my brain to figure out how Daikatana managed to sneak in.
If you’re interested, the collection will be discounted until 10:00 a.m. Pacific on May 11, 2020.
