Square-Enix bringing new MMO to 360 and PC … maybe PS3

According to an interview with Pro-G, Square-Enix will be bringing a brand new, next-gen MMO to the PC and Xbox 360 with a PlayStation 3 version also considered a possibility. From the interview:

Pro-G: So what are you working on now? Any plans for the future?

HT: I’m still working on XI as it’s on-going but we are also working on a next-generation MMORPG for 360 and Vista but PS3 is a possibility.

And the MMO craze continues. I’m eagerly awaiting someone to do a console MMO right, but with Final Fantasy XI on their roster, my faith ain’t so strong in Square.
