Square Enix attempts to sell you one last time on Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV

We’ve seen still screens, we’ve seen Japanese footage, now here’s the English trailer for Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV, the film that is officially kicking off the XV subfranchise.

Yep, Kingsglaive is still set for a digital release on August 30, a full month before the game is out on September 30, and it will be shown in “select theaters” in the US on August 19 before it gets a full home video release on October 4 (staggered content — it’s the future!). At the very least it looks entertaining, and the English cast fits well enough.

After all this time I hope this series delivers. So far, so good — the film is doing well in Japanese theaters.
