Score one for local multiplayer
As of just a few days ago, it seemed very possible that Sportsfriends — the multiplayer-focused, four-game compendium that includes Johann Sebastian Joust, BaraBariBall, Super Pole Riders, and Hokra — wouldn’t be able to meet its $150,000 goal on Kickstarter. Thankfully, the campaign pulled through and was funded today.
I had expected this to garner more support than it did based on how passionate some people have been about these games (J.S. Joust, in particular) and the pretty solid list of supported platforms (PlayStation 3, Windows, Mac, and Linux). Not that it particularly matters now, but it was interesting to see this all play out. You did it, folks.
