Splatoon to settle the pirates vs. ninjas debate

Halloween Splatfest

Now this is a Splatfest worth getting behind. Nintendo will thrust Splatoon players into the familiar pirates versus ninjas debate just in time for Halloween. The stage is set: 9:00pm Pacific on October 30. The ensuing 24 hours of online battles will determine a victor.

Going forward, the multiplier for wins during Splatfest is 6x, not the usual 4x. Something to keep in mind if your team loyalty leans more toward the probable winner than personal taste.
