Splatoon is getting a massive update next week, with weapon balancing

Better matchmaking too

On October 20, Splatoon is going to be updated big time. Ranking fixes will be in place so that S users will be matched up with other S users more often, and six levels will be re-balanced to prevent exploits or unfair advantages. Additionally, smaller adjustments are being made for weapon balancing, and there’s even a few bug fixes along the way.
