Splatoon 2 prepares for messy results with latest weapon update

Custom Splattershot Jr, for cute chaos

Like clockwork, Friday sees the announcement of a classic weapon returning to the splurge-tastic arsenal of Nintendo’s popular arena-shooter Splatoon 2.

This week, it is the compact killing-machine (does not actually kill) known as the Custom Splattershot Jr. This one-handed weapon, uncannily similar to the water-pistols of yore, can be considered the Uzi 9mm of the Splatoon world, providing inaccurate, short-range rapid-fire. Spray n’ Pray, baby.

The Custom Splattershot Jr. comes equipped with an Auto-Bomb sub and an Ink Storm special, and goes live September 9.
