Splatoon 2 is getting new amiibo this year

Directly following the Smash World Championship, Nintendo dropped a few more bits of Splatoon related news. For one, the new expansion is out tomorrow! Also, even more Splatoon amiibo are on the way.

The new trio is as follows: Octoling Girl, Boy, and Octopus. They’re all on theme with the new Octoling expansion, and according to Nintendo, will release “sometime in 2018.” So far that makes six new amiibo announced at E3 (Inkling Smash, Ridley, Daisy, and these three).
