Indie developer Infuse Studios has released a sublime trailer for its upcoming wildlife adventure Spirit of the North, which will launch on PS4 as a timed exclusive November 1.
Prioritizing atmosphere, exploration and mood, Spirit of the North is a mystic tale of an Icelandic red fox and his accidental encounter with a spirit vixen, who happens to be the guardian of the Northern Lights. Together, these bushy-tailed partners will traverse the frozen tundras, forests and caverns of Iceland, exploring the environment and solving puzzles in order to discover the truth behind “a land left in ruin”.
Infuse takes pride in Spirit of the North’s deliberate pace, lack of dialogue and open-ended gameplay. The development team hopes that players will enjoy unwrapping the mysteries of the land at their own measure, taking in the beautiful and detailed landscape, synergising our furry heroes’ unique abilities, and following a scarlet sky to an unknown end.
Spirit of the North launches on PS4 on November 1. An Xbox One and PC release are expected once the timed exclusivity period is over.
