Spider-Man 2 snatches nine D.I.C.E nominations

Alan Wake 2 receives eight.

In the upcoming D.I.C.E awards, Spider-Man 2 takes an early lead by scoring nine nominations. The awards ceremony is scheduled for February 15 this year.

Categories that Insomniac’s superhero game is in include Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Animation, and Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design, to name a few. Alan Wake 2 trails not too far behind with eight nominations.

Remedy’s survival horror has managed to catch the eyes of critics thanks to its metastory, use of music, and phenomenal ensemble of characters. It has been nominated for Game of the Year as well, but it also picks up nominations in the Outstanding Achievement in Story category and Outstanding Achievement in Character category which gives Saga Anderson a nod.

The other games that got Game of the Year nominations are: Baldur’s Gate 3, Cocoon, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The full list of nominations is as follows:
