Square Enix delivered the punchline to its latest troll job today, unveiling forthcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive “Project Code Z” as a free-to-play entry in the Spelunker series.
Spelunker Z is the follow-up to Spelunker HD, Tozai Games’ PS3 remake of the original ’80s platformer. The new subterranean adventure is equipped with six-player online multiplayer and microtransactions. Someone, somewhere might be excited about this. Maybe.
