Soulcalibur VI reveals Leader of Humanity, and laughing maniac, Azwel

Bandai Namco has bust out a mid-weekend reveal for their upcoming fighter Soulcalibur VI. We finally have a name to put to the creepy looking face that debuted during last week’s Soul of Libra trailer, as all-new character Azwel debuts on the Stage of History.

The self-professed “Leader of Humanity”, Azwel looks to be a very dangerous antagonist and, interestingly, a certified loon. Armed with the mystical weapon “Palindrome”, a pair of red and blue mystical blades, Azwel lays down the law on his busy, apocalyptic stage. If this guy isn’t the boss of Soulcalibur VI, I don’t know who is.

Oh, he also nails Samoa Joe’s Muscle Buster. So there’s that.

Soulcalibur VI launches on PS4, PC and Xbox One October 19.
