Sony trademarks four new game names

Recommended Videos

Sony has recently filed trademarks for four new game titles, which could mean that four hot new IPs are on the way to the PS3 or PSP. Alternatively, this could mean absolutely nothing at all. Nevertheless, it’s something to talk about, so let’s talk about that, shall we?

The four titles are Digi-Tiles, Earthshield, Legend of Kunoichi, and Smashbreak. No details have been given for any of the games, although from the looks of it, one can easily assume that three puzzles games and some sort of action title are on the cards. I’ll let you decide which ones are which.

It’s being speculated that these new games will eventually surface in conjunction with the Sony Wiimote. Sounds like a fair bet. One can expect loads of puzzle games to hit the PS3 with that “new” motion controller on the horizon.
