Sony registers Motorstorm 3 site

Recommended Videos

Nothing can be kept secret anymore. The internet has too many Matlocks doing their Matlock thing out there. For instance if Sony wanted to announce Motorstorm 3 at an upcoming gaming event and surprise everyone then they probably shouldn’t have gone forward with registering www.motorstorm3.com ahead of time.

The folks over at The Gaming Liberty must have been typing in every gaming related URL they could think of when they noticed that motorstorm3.com took them to the Sony site instead of just loading a fail page. It turns out that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe created the site on Jan. 19, 2010 with an expiration date on the same day. Because of the fact that the dates are so recent, I doubt this is simply Sony covering its bases for when people type in random URLs about Motorstorm.

That being said, Motorstorm 3 was almost a foregone conclusion with the series success on the PS3 and PSP. Anyone actually surprised this could be happening?
