Sony has made a fresh announcement concerning the PlayStation Network’s status, announcing that it has nothing to announce concerning the PlayStation Network’s status. It’s still down, in case you couldn’t gather that.
“I know you are waiting for additional information on when PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be online,” said SCEA’s Patrick Seybold. “Unfortunately, I don’t have an update or timeframe to share at this point in time.
“As we previously noted, this is a time intensive process and we’re working to get them back online quickly. We’ll keep you updated with information as it becomes available. We once again thank you for your patience.”
In thinking about this situation, I’ve stumbled upon a fun thought — this is the first time in history that Sony not having a PSN update is a bad thing. Get it? Because shitty Firmware! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
