Sony: Only a small percentage of PSN cancellations

Sony has revealed that, while some people had terminated their PSN accounts on account of the hacking controversy, it’s only a fraction of those who are keeping the faith.

CEO Howard Stringer told the Wall Street Journal that Sony’s customer service only received “a very small percentage” of calls from people wishing to eradicate their PSN accounts. Of course, this doesn’t include those who simply didn’t bother and just traded their systems in.

Trade-ins or not, it’s reasonable to assume that most PSN users have patiently waited to get back online. I think at this rate, we’re all just looking forward to getting back online and buying Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
