Sony is bringing a lot of good PS3 and PSP games to TGS

It’s kind of a given that the “big three” have some overlap with the third-party booths at gaming events like the Tokyo Game Show, set to kick off in about two weeks. Much of what Sony’s showing isn’t first-party developed, but that’s not a bad thing. If anything, we can look at Sony’s booth as a sort of one-stop shop for good games…mostly.

Kotaku put together a list of the expected playable offerings for both the PSP and the PlayStation 3 for the show this year, and we see that there’s some good stuff in there. Final Fantasy XIII? Yes. Gran Turismo 5? Do want. But the offerings for PSP are even better, especially for this RPG nerd. Valkyria Chronicles 2, Persona 3 Portable, and Phantasy Star Portable 3 are in the mix. Of course, I’m all up on Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and God Eater, too. What? Haven’t heard of God Eater? Watch this video.
