Sony is ending its relationship with SuperBot Entertainment, the makers of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. This comes days after the studio laid off a number of employees.

“Sony Computer Entertainment can confirm that the working agreement with developer SuperBot Entertainment has amicably ended,” a Sony rep told Kotaku. Unfortunately this departure could also very well mean the end of the studio according to one source.

As for future downloadable content for PlayStation All-Stars, that will be handled by Sony’s Santa Monica Studio.
