Sony has announced that it’s making PlayStation Home that much more appealing to gamers by partnering with indie game label Codename to provide original game content.

Among the first games announced is Dueling Gentlemen by the award-winning Odd Gentlemen, the team behind The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom. The game will have players using strategy on the huge stage in Home’s Plaza to duel against other denizens of the virtual world. Developer Peanut Gallery will deliver Minor Battle, a team-based, capture-the-flag-style platform game. Codename’s Super Awesome Mountain RPG will blend tabletop board games with fantasy role-playing titles, as players ascend a super awesome mountain. Finally, Lazy8’s Cogs will make its appearance on the PlayStation 3… in 3D, and as a “dynamic public spectacle in Home’s Central Plaza.”

The games are said to be added to PlayStation Home “over the course of the next several months,” so keep your eyes peeled.
