Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection shows us what Sonic 2 actually looked like!

Just in case you can’t remember what Sonic 2 looks like after playing roughly fifty eight billion re-releases of the game, here are some screenshots from Sega’s latest nostalgic compilation, Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection. I hear it’s relatively ultimate.

As well as Sonic 2, this week’s batch of screens also focuses on Vectorman, a classic game that was hailed in its heyday for some of the most amazing graphics on home consoles. Seeing it in motion is still pretty impressive actually, despite the game’s age.

You’ll also notice that I managed to squeeze two paragraphs out while talking about Sega Genesis game screenshots. That’s pretty impressive!
