Ahead of this Sunday’s Super Bowl, Paramount Pictures has released the Sonic the Hedgehog trailer that will debut during the game. In it, Sonic dupes professional athletes into bragging about how fast he is. Classic.
I’m not gonna lie, all I could think about while watching this trailer is the episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia where Mac writes a letter to Phillies’ second baseman Chase Utley and says “I know I can’t throw as fast as you, but I think you would be impressed with my speed. I love your hair. You run fast.”
Sonic the Hedgehog is barreling toward its box office premiere on February 14 after a high-profile delay due to Sonic looking ridiculous.
