Actually, if you can gloss over Tails, there’s a pretty fantastic game here. Super level design, kickass music, and the debut of the Super Sonic power-up are all here in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. And remember the half pipe bonus stages? That had pretty slick visuals for a Genesis title, didn’t it?
