Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 revealed a bunch of new screenshots via the Xbox Live Marketplace, and they’re now safely entrenched in a Destructoid gallery for your viewing amusement. Check ’em out.
Among the notable images are those showing off a purple Sonic, and one particular picture giving us the first glimpse of a bonus stage based upon Sonic the Hedgehog 2. It seems that, just as Episode 1 aped the first Sonic game, this new episode is full of tributes to its Genesis sequel.
