Someone put Mario Kart in Fortnite now that the playground update is out

People are going to come up with some rad stuff if they expand this

Player created tools rock. I remember spending countless hours crafting RPGs in Starcraft‘s use map settings editor, and most of you can recall that several big games, DOTA included, were born from a mod of an existing game.

Fortnite just got itself a brand new bag in the form of the playground mode, which lets people chill out, roam free, and create stuff. Among many other Minecraft-esque buildings and such some groups of players managed to insert new genres into Fortnite, like this Mario Kart rebuild shared by JoshB_C. An homage to the Tilted Towers location, it’s called “Tilted Track.”

Right now they’re using shopping carts as karts powered by boost pads as that’s the closest analog, but if this mode catches on we can only assume that Epic will add in real vehicles at some point.
