So uh…Sepia Go? I think I can see where the development team got their “inspiration.”
This one has been making the rounds this past week, in what amounts to a Chinese-made Splatoon knockoff. It’s surprisingly faithful, from the hub world to the campaign all the way to versus mode.
The big takeaway here, besides the fact that this should be shut down pronto, is that it looks…good? Like, we’ve seen what smartphones have been capable of for years, but this is crazy good looking for a wholesale ripoff. Hopefully Nintendo ramps up their mobile plans in the future beyond ancillary type stuff.
