After surprise success Sleeping Dogs and surprise disappointment LittleBigPlanet Karting, all eyes are on what developer United Front Games will do next. The developer’s site had a listing for “a next-gen console title” job, which they have since updated to read “our console titles.” So, United Front Games is making a next-gen game with multiplayer.
This job listing for a network/multiplayer programmer position requires “knowledge of common multiplayer features such as matchmaking, invites, game lobbies, leader boards, stats, etc.”
Yeah, not much to go on but still exciting. You know what this means, right? Watch Dogs better watch its back before this next-gen Sleeping Dog bites. Hah? Right!? … wait, what? I’m fired? For writing a bad pun? That seems kind of harsh but alright. Geez.
