That is to say, there’s a lot of blood
I was originally going to pass on posting this trailer, but I came across it while I was listening to Lana del Rey’s Ultraviolence and that just seemed like too great of a coincidence. Also, the developer’s name (Wolf Brew) looks like “Wolf Brettt” in the game’s font, and that’d be a better nickname for me than “Wett Brett.” Someone take this up with Steven.
Anyway, Slain! looks like it’s coming along nicely. By “nicely,” I mean there’s lots of blood — gallons of the stuff. Pixelated giblets galore. That seems exactly like what people would want from this game. For an extra good time with the trailer, mute it and play Pantera’s “I’m Broken” over the top of it.
Slain‘s crowdfunding backers are getting early PC keys soon. The other platforms like Xbox One, PS4, Vita, and Wii U are still on-track for a release sometime this fall.
