Skylanders show, which has Norm MacDonald in it, coming to Netflix this Fall

I uh, might watch it?

Today, Activision reminded us that the TV show Skylanders Academy exists, and that it will premiere this Fall on Netflix. Along with a lot of bombastic language about how successful the series is despite the Toys to Life market issues going on right now, they noted that they’ve already locked up a two-season deal, so get ready for two more years of Skylanders, at least!

Truthfully though, the talent involved has me curious. Eric Rogers (who wrote a few Futurama episodes) will be the showrunner, and Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), and Norm MacDonald (of Norm MacDonald fame) are involved. Bobcat Goldthwait and James Hetfield are even sprinkled in for good measure!

The publisher has also provided a single image of the show, so you can comb over it and judge it accordingly.
