Sky Island is Fez for poor people

Recommended Videos

Do you want to play Fez but you can’t afford to buy the game and/or a Xbox 360?

Well you’re in luck. Sky Island is a Flash game that takes the concept of Fez but does it for free. Don’t get too excited though. You get what you pay for. The game has an awesome little playable character (he/she is sort of a cross between Bullseye, Prymatt Conehead, and a yellow cookie) but the game is otherwise unspectacular. It takes the central perspective-shifting gameplay hook from Fez, slows everything, shrinks the level size, removes the dialog and the characters, and turns the whole thing into a shallow-but-charming little time-eater.

Thanks Sky Island! Watching the little Bullseye/Conehead/Cookie guy waddle around for ten minutes and occasionally fall to his death was totally worth the non-price of admission.
