Ski Safari – Adventure Time is out today

It’s literally Ski Safari with Finn and Jake

What do you get when you cross a super mathematical show with the mobile game Ski Safari? Well, Ski Safari Adventure Time would make sense, and that’s just what is launching today on the Google Play and iTunes marketplaces. It’s basically the first ever instance of Adventure Time merging with an existing brand, which is a sign that Finn and Jake are getting places financially.

I had a chance to play the game myself over the weekend, and I have to say, it’s a decent runner. You’ll start off as Finn in his skin-tight sleeping bag, then crash into the slopes after an avalanche and take it from there. As you’re slip sliding away, Finn can jump onto Jake for a ride, as well as various denizens of the Candy Kingdom and other fan favorite characters.

Basically all you can do is spin moves for points, but constant challenges help keep you striving for more, Jetpack Joyride style. It’s very simplistic for sure, but it’s a fun way to spend an afternoon. And it’s much more of a fitting tribute than Explore the Dungeon was.
