Sir, You Are Being Hunted is out of Early Access with version 1.0

‘Tweedpunk stealth and survival in a procedurally-generated British Isles’

In most cases, I like to pass on alpha and even beta builds of games in favor of waiting for a more polished, more realized “full release” version. That’s especially true if I think I’m going to really like the game in question, which is the position I found myself in early on with Sir, You Are Being Hunted. It’s got a great sense of humor about it but, at the same time, it’s thrilling. Even scary.

The open-world stealth/survival title is no longer in Early Access. Version 1.0 is available directly from developer Big Robot via the Humble Store, on Steam proper, GOG.com, and GamersGate. Sir, You are Being Hunted is normally $20 game but it’s 15 percent off until May 8.

Big Robot says “There will still be a few things to come after v1.0, as well as ongoing fixes and support, including multiplayer (no, no date on that yet, we’ve still got a way to go!) and also a customisation patch that will allow you mess with the game generation in-menu, rather than just in the back-end XML files. But we’ll get to those later!”
