[Update: A demo for FIFA 14 is coming for PC, PS3, and 360 owners worldwide on September 10th (11th for European PS3 owners). Also, enjoy the trailer featuring Sir Patrick Stewart!]

Lots of great FIFA 14 related news was announced this morning at Gamescom, and it looks like there’s more to come. New in FIFA 14, there are now 33 officially licensed leagues, 600 clubs, and a total of over 16,000 players. That includes new Italian and Brazilian clubs, among others.

You’ll also be able to bring your season to a next-gen console through an undermined method (probably just a simple save transfer) if you choose to upgrade from a 360 or PS3 version to the Xbox One or PS4 respectievly. I’m loving that feature, especially when combined with the existing retailer next-gen upgrade deals.

FIFA 14 will launch on practically everything but the Wii U later this year, including the PSP and the PlayStation 2 (!). Yes, the PlayStation Two.
