Sin and Punishment 2 gets a no-nonsense commercial

Recommended Videos

It’s not entirely out of character for a Nintendo-published game to get this kind of commercial, but it certainly hasn’t been the norm for the duration of this console generation. Notice the distinct lack of families and part-time models, as Jonathan Holmes puts it.

Sin and Punishment: Star Successor is shown. As in, just the game, with very in the way of added frills. And the robotic lady? She seems like a decent enough match for how Treasure and Nintendo appear to be pitching the game, at least in the United States.

Speaking of which, how is S&P 2 not out in the US yet!? Step it up, June 27. Watching S&P 2 in its entirety on YouTube is all well and good, but we need it in our hands. Plus, I can’t wait to see the game’s box art — which is, quite possibly, the best cover art in recent times — on store shelves.
