American Idol/X-Factor judge and man of many entertainment-spotting talents Simon Cowell probably thinks you can’t sing. But he thinks you should probably be playing one of his videogames.

Cowell and entrepreneur Philip Green are currently joining forces to create what the duo is calling the “new Disney,” Greenwell Entertainment. Among other things, Greenwell is looking to get involved in the videogame industry, even recently meeting with Sony CEO Howard Stringer.

“Without being rude or conceited,” Green told GQ magazine, right before sounding both rude and conceited, “he knew what we were on to was going to shape the future.”

“Look at Guitar Hero,” he continues. “[Simon’s] got more viewers, more hits, more everything… and he hasn’t even got a Web site!”

While I’m not exactly sure the two know how this whole videogames thing works, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I’d be more than happy to cover a third-person action shooter starring Simon Cowell.
