Super Bomberman R may have not have set the world on fire on release, but Konami is trying their best to keep it from being a full-on bomb. With a free DLC update fixing many of its issues, and with good early sales numbers, Konami could really pull off something interesting here if Konami doesn’t Konami itself.
But I digress. Reminding you of games long gone, Simon Belmont from Castlevania, Vic Viper from Gradius (my favorite), and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill will be joining Super Bomberman R‘s bomb squad. Although there are no further pricing or release date details as of this writing, this could rule.
It’s too much to ask for these add-ons to be free also, but hopefully it’s not too costly given the entry price was a little higher than I preferred.
