Silent Hill takes over Universal Studios this Halloween

Recommended Videos

Every year from the end of September until Halloween, the Universal Studios theme parks in Orlando and Hollywood are given a fright-filled makeover for Halloween Horror Nights. Visitors are treated to an evening of gore, haunted houses, and costumed nasties, including Freddie Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and other iconic figures in recent years.

During SDCC, Universal announced that, for the first time, it would be adapting a videogame property for Halloween Horror Nights 2012. A new maze will take elements from the Silent Hill games and films, bringing to life Pyramid Head, the nurses, and more. Expect walls so rusty that you’ll need a tetanus shot just by staring at them, and I’m going to hazard a guess that Silent Hill’s signature siren will be used to great effect.

Anyone planning on visiting either park this year?
