Show us your love of Steampunk and win this custom PC

Recommended Videos

Remember that sick, sick PC that we posted about a few months back that was being specially created by artist Jake Hildebrandt for the release of Damnation? Well, it’s finally complete, and you can see pics of it from every angle on Jake’s Flickr account. The PC inside the custom case was built by Falcon NW and sporting an Intel Core i7 965, 12 gigs DDR3 RAM, an X57 chipset motherboard, a Dual Radeon 4870X2 card, and 1 Terabyte of hard drive (5k worth of goodies!), this baby has more to offer than just good looks. Would you like to display this in your office?

Well, I can hardly believe I’m about to say this, but we are giving this beautiful PC away. The estimated value of a work of art like this is hard to put a finger on, but it’s meaty. To get a chance to win this behemoth, I need you to show us in the comments what you think steampunk is. Dress up in your favorite garb. Show us something you made that fits the theme. Make a video of you and your friends. Take some cues from sites like this. Whatever, you do, make sure you’re holding a Destructoid.com sign in your photo, video or art installation!

The contest will run through June 19th and is open to US/Canadian residents only. Sorry people, but this thing is heavy — we can only ship it so far without fear of damage, and we can’t have that. I wish the best of luck to all of you and thank you in advance for your participation: this is definitely the biggest contest we’ve ever had the pleasure of launching on Dtoid, and I hope to be able to award this in a month to the most impressive contestant ever. Godspeed!
